Questioner: "How can you reconcile the concept of a white mans government with the basic tenets of democracy?"
Johnson: "You assume The two Tennessee state representatives were expelled because they are black—"
Panel 2:
Johnson: "—but race had nothing to do with it. it was about their decorum."
Questioner: "What was wrong with their decorum?"
Panel 3:
Johnson: "It was too dark."
